LEATHER & SUEDE CARE
For all sheepskin and leather products use a specialist dry cleaner only. There are several techniques you can use at home to preserve the condition of your garment.
Due to the nature of the skins there will be variations of colour between each garment. All of our coats are unique and the skins for each garment are hand selected. The variations of the skins is part of the charm of each piece.
Before your first wear we recommend to spray the suede for added protection. This will help the suede repel any marks you may get on the coat. You can also use a suede brush or suede block to bring back the pile of the suede or remove minor marks. For greasy marks we recommend fullers earth, this is a powder which can be sprinkled on, left to soak up the stain and then brushed off. This helps to remove
any greasy marks or spillages.
This is slightly more resilient than suede but still needs care. Avoid saturating the garment in water and if it does become wet then brush off excess water and hang to dry.
We recommend you try to avoid getting any of your shearling wet as this is a natural product. If you do get any of the garments wet, hang to dry.
Store all natural products garments in a dry warm place. Allow for room around the garment to avoid squashing the sheepskin amongst other garments. For added protection when storing for longer lengths of time, store in a garment bag.
